About Me

I'm Angie. I'm an unorganized paper pusher, a procrastinating housekeeper, forgetful birthday card sender, wife, and homeschooling mom of 3. What that really makes me is...a junk loving, thrift store shopping, decor obsessing, DIYing, right-brained creative person! I was born to create. I have to create. Whether it's a fun craft project, a cozy home to dwell in, a yummy dish to eat, I have to create. I love to create.

I've been homeschooling our daughters for since 1997. It's been one of the most challenging but rewarding things I've ever done. It isn't for everybody but it worked/is working for us. I love to share what I've learned over the past 17 years.

I hope you find some things here that inspire you to create. Thanks for stopping by and God bless!

  1. Hi again! You just left a message back to me about looking at my blog and seeing that my home is Baldwin County, Alabama, and about your vacation to Gulf Shores...I'm so glad you like our beaches here. It's a pretty nice place to live.
I just read more about you and decided to send another note...I see that you are a homeschooling family. We homeschooled fourteen years! Just like you said, it was a challenge, new each year, but we did it, we made it work, and it was great. Our youngest graduated college in 2010, where he went on a full academic scholarship. That was when I finally knew for sure that it had worked!
I am now at that point where I am able to do a little more of the creative things I like to do, much like what you described.
I am going to start following your blog daily, so that I'll not miss anything! So glad I found you...and thanks again for that tip on cleaning brass and silver!
    Judy
